Santhanam dons the role of Kamal Haasan..

 Thillu Mullu is a super hit comedy film which had Rajnikanth in the lead role. This film was directed by ace director K Balachander. Kamal Haasan made a guest appearance in this film. He donned the role of an advocate.

This film has been remade once again with the same title. Shiva has donned the role which Rajini donned. Prakash Raj is donning the role which Thengai Srinivasan donned in the original version while Kovai Sarala has donned the important role which Sowcar Janaki donned.

Now the crew wanted an actor who could don the role of Kamal Haasan. Finally they zeroed on Santhanam. In Thillu Mullu, Kamal will come to the aid of Rajini. Similarly in this remake version Santhanam will come to the aid of Shiva. Santhanam said that he is very happy because he has donned the role which Kamal had donned earlier.
