Priyamani dances for a Kuthu song with Shahrukh Khan...

 Since Nayanthara refused, Priyamani had danced for a Kuthu song with Bollywood super star Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan is donning the lead role in the Hindi film titled Chennai Express. The story of this film happens in a train which travels from Mumbai to Rameswaram. Deepika Padukone is donning the female lead role.

Many Tamil actors including Sathyaraj and Manorama are donning important roles in this film. It was decided to make a popular Tamil actress dance for a Kuthu song. Nayanthara was approached but she refused.

At the same time, when Dhanush approached her for a Kuthu dance for the film Ethir Neechal, she gave her nos. She danced for this Kuthu song without receiving any remuneration. Since Nayanthara refused to dance with Shahrukh Khan, Priyamani was approached. She also agreed. This song sequence featuring Shahrukh Khan and Priyamani was shot in magnificent sets. Raju Sundaram has choreographed this dance. It is understood that this dance will be a highlight of this film.
