Dhanush’s Sotta Vaalakutty becomes Naiyandi

Sargunam is directing a film which has Dhanush in the lead role. This film was earlier titled Sotta Vaalakutty. Now the title has been changed as Naiyandi. After 3, Dhanush is acting in the films Raanjhnaa (Hindi) and Mariyaan (Tamil). After this he will be donning the lead role in a film to be directed by Sargunam. The story of this film is about the romance between a Kuthu Vilakku (Lamp used during poojas) seller and a dental college student. This film was initially titled Sotta Vaalakutty. Selection for the heroine is going on. Kathiresan who had produced Polladhavan and Aadukalam is producing this film. Gibran is composing music for this film while Velraj is handling the camera. At a time when the shooting is going to commence, the title of the film has been changed as Naiyandi. Talks are being held with a Malayalam actress Nazriya Nazim for the female lead role. In a day or two, the official announcement regarding the heroine will be made. The shooting of the film will commence during the month of February.
