Shiva who had acted in the films Chennai 28, Thamizh Padam and Kalakalappu has donned the role which Rajini donned in the original version.
Isha Talwar has paired with him. M S Vishwanathan who had composed the music for the original version has composed music for this film along with Yuvan Shankar Raja. Badri has directed this film.
The shooting of the film has been completed and was sent for Censor Board for certification. The members of the Board gave a U certificate for this film. Thillu Mullu will be hitting the screens on 14th June.
