 A R Murugadoss had directed the super hit film Thuppakki which had Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead role. This film which has been produced by Dhanu had the music of Harris Jayaraj. Vijay after completing Thalaiva is now busy acting in Jilla.

After this, he will be donning the lead role in a film to be directed by A R Murugadoss. This film is being produced by London Karunaas. Talks were held with many heroines for the female lead role. Even Bollywood damsel Deepika Padukone was approached.

She refused to don the female lead role since she had no dates. Immediately Samantha was approached. She gave her call sheet immediately since this film has the combination of Vijay- A R Murugadoss. Anirudh will be composing the music for this film which will have Vijay and Samantha in the lead roles. Ethir Neechal Satish is donning the role of Vijay’s friend in this film. It is understood that this film will be a high budgeted one.
