Ghajini 2 to be produced says Producer Chandrasekaran

Ghajini is a super hit film which had Surya, Asin and Nayanthara in the cast. This film which was directed by A R Murugadoss was released in the year 2005. This film was produced by Salem A Chandrasekaran.

This film was also remade in Hindi with the same title. This film had Amir Khan and Asin in the lead roles. Both the versions yielded great profits. Now Chandrasekaran is making efforts to produce a sequel to this film.

Producer K R has insisted that Surya should don the lead role. K R while speaking about this said, "There is no humanity in the film industry these days. Actors should come forward to help the producers who are in dire situations. Surya should come forward to give a helping hand to Chandrasekaran by acting in Ghajini 2."

Producer Salem A Chandrasekaran while speaking said, "Once the film Killadi is released, the works connected with Ghajini 2 will commence. I have already registered this title with the Producers Council. Surya had acted very well in the Part 1 of Ghajini. Surya will be the fittest person for this role when compared with Amir Khan. Hence Surya only should act in Ghajini 2. I will meet him in person and speak to him in this regard."
