Deepika Padukone to pair with Kamal Haasan

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone came to Tamil through the film Raana which had Rajini in the lead role. This film was shelved. However she had paired with Rajini in the film Kochadaiyaan.

Moreover after the release of this film she has decided to act in more Tamil films. At this juncture there is news that Deepika Padukone will pair with Kamal Haasan in a film to be directed and produced by Lingusamy.

Is this possible? When enquired about this, we got the information that when Kamal was in a tight spot in getting theatres to release his film Vishwaroopam, Lingusamy intervened and came to his rescue. As a gratitude for this, Kamal has agreed to do a film for him. Official announcement regarding this is yet to be made from both the sides.
