Gowtham Karthik in Aishwarya Dhanush's film

Kadal is a film which had Gowtham Karthik, Thulasi, Arjun and Aravind Swamy in the cast. This film which was directed by Manirathnam was the most expected film of the year but it was an utter flop. Though the songs composed by A R Rahman were astounding, the film failed to fulfil the longings of the audience.

Though Gowtham Karthik debutant film Kadal was a flop, offers did not stop knocking his doors. So far Gowtham has listened to more than 25 stories. After Kadal, Gowtham Karthik has been signed for a film to be directed by Saravanan who had earlier directed Silambattam which had Simbhu in the lead role.

It is also understood that he will be donning the lead role in a film to be directed by Aishwarya Dhanush. After directing 3, Aishwarya Dhanush was busy scripting for her next film. She had recently met Gowtham Karthik and has spoken to him. The song Why This Kolaveri from the film 3 became very popular throughout the world. Aishwarya wanted the songs of her new film to be very popular like her earlier film. So she has signed Anirudh to compose music. The search for the suitable heroine is going on. So very soon Rajni’s daughter will be directing Karthik’s son.
