Lingusamy to produce a film for Kamal Haasan...

 Lingusamy will be producing a film which will have Kamal Haasan in the lead role under the banner Thirupathi Brothers. Kamal apart from donning the lead role will also direct this film. It was earlier mentioned that this film would be a remake of the Hindi film Special 26.

When asked producer and director Lingusamy about this, he said, " We are producing a film under the banner Thirupathi Brothers which will have Kamal Haasan in the lead role. He will also be directing this film. This film is not the remake of the Hindi film Special 26. 

Kamal Haasan has written the story for this film. The details regarding the remake of Special 26 is being worked out now. I have approached Gautham Menon to direct this remake film but nothing is finalized. The shooting of the film which will have Surya and Samantha in the lead roles will commence during the month of August." 

Kamal Haasan after completing Vishwaroopam 2 will commence the shooting of the film produced by Lingusamy.
