Srikanth dons the lead role in Om Shanthi Om

Chocolate hero Srikanth after acting in Paagan is now donning the lead role in a film titled Om Shanthi Om. This is not the remake of the Hindi film Om Shanthi Om. Pragasam who was an assistant to director Rajesh M is directing this film.

Telugu actress Neelam who made her debut recently will be pairing with Srikanth. The shooting of this has already commenced and is going on in Trichy and Thanjavur.

Srikanth while speaking about this said, "I have already proved that I can do comedy roles through the film Paagan. This film can be enjoyed right from the kids to elderly people. Though this is a comedy film, we have given a message to the society. The shooting of this film will take place in Kumbakonam." This film is to be released during summer vacations.
