Bollywood actress pair with Vijay in Thalaiva

Thalaiva is a film which has Vijay in the lead role. This film which is being directed by A L Vijay has Amala Paul in the female lead role. The shooting of this film is taking place in Mumbai for the last two months. Ponvannan is also donning an important role in this film.

As per the story, Amala Paul is Vijay’s Tamil Nadu lover. Vijay goes to Mumbai in connection with a work is a loved by a Hindi girl and because of this, the crew was in search of a Hindi girl who would suit the role.

Richa and Lakshmi Rai were also considered for this role. Finally Hindi TV actress Ragini Nandwani was selected for this role. She is acting in Hindi TV serials and also in Hindi films. She has also acted in a Hindi film titled Dehraadun Diary.

When Vijay was staying in Delhi, he happened to see Ragini Nandwani in a TV programme. He felt that she would suit the role and hence he recommended her to the producer. The director has also agreed and Ragini is currently acting in this film with Vijay.

Biriyani shooting takes a break

Biriyani is a film which has Karthi in the lead role. This film which is being produced by Studio Green is being directed by Venkat Prabhu. Karthi was shooting nonstop for the film Biriyani at Pondicherry and this schedule is over.

So Karthi has decided to commence the shooting of the film All In All Azhagu Raja. This film is being directed by Rajesh M who had earlier directed super hit hilarious films Siva Manasula Sakthi, Boss Engira Baskaran and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. Santhanam who was a part of all the Rajesh’s film is also donning an important role in this film.

The shooting of this film will commence during the first week of March. Kajal Agarwal is pairing with Karthi. The shooting of Biriyani will commence during the month of April. It is also interesting to note that both these films are being produced by Studio Green and because of this Karthi can make switchovers without any difficulty.

Ajith is a man

Ajith is ready for his next blasting action. Ajith has been shaken after seeing the astounding fighting sequences in Viswaroopam. So he has decided to have gargantuan fighting sequences in his film Valai directed by Vishnuvardhan.

Ajith without having faith in graphics have fought violently at the shooting spots. This stiff decision has scared the unit members. Ajith was severely injured while shooting in America but within few days he was back fully rejuvenated.

Ajith is donning the role of an officer of the cyber crime branch. You can say he is a computer genius. A message comes to the E Mail ID of the President and Prime Minister. This information rocks the whole country. Only if the person who sent the mail is identified than only the country can be saved.

All the officials of the department try to locate the person but in vain. Nobody is able to assess the password. At this point Ajith comes to the mind of the people of the department. After this, it is all Ajith game in his style. At one point of time Ajith has to catch the fleeing villain. So he uses a powerful motorcycle Ducati which is used in the Formula races.

No one in India has this bike. This has the power of 1220 CC with four cylinders. This bike never is ridden wearing ordinary clothes. There will be a severe pain in the shoulders if this powerful speedy bike is ridden. Special gear is to be worn to drive this bike. This bike is powerful like a car because there is a carburettor in it. When this bike was brought for the shooting many of the unit members requested Ajith not to use it because he is already injured.

Ajith who did not give a heed to this asked the members to fit the cameras in a high speed cars and started driving his bike. People who were journeying on the road were startled seeing Ajith racing in the Ducati bike. Even the Dubai officials have quipped whether this risk was necessary for a film shooting. Ajith finished the chasing sequence and came back. Director Vishnuvardhan had appreciated Ajith by saying, " You are a man."

Ajith who scared us by fighting in the helicopter sequences is sure to freeze us in this bike sequence.

Vijay to join hands with A R Murugadoss once again

The film Thuppakki which had Vijay in the lead role was directed by A R Murugadoss. This film was a great hit and yielded a profit of Rs 180 Crores. Now the both of them are joining hands once again. A R Murugadoss has confirmed this news.

Murugadoss while speaking about this said, " Few days back Vijay and I spoke. It was decided to join hands once again. This will be not the part 2 of Thuppaki. This film will have a different story." A R Murugadoss is now busy remaking the Thuppakki in Hindi. After completing this film he will commence the shooting of the film which will have Vijay in the lead role.

Is it wrong if I stay with the hero in my room says Actress Lakshmi Rai?

There is towering inferno in Kodambakkam about Lakshmi Rai staying with actor Vinay in a same room in a hotel. The hottest talk is that Lakshmi Rai stayed with Vinay in a same room while shooting for the film Onbathula Guru.

One of important crew member shared with us certain things that occurred. He said, "That was an important stage of the film. Lots of actors have to participate in the shooting which was taking place in Pondicherry.

So, director P T Selvakumar was shooting in top gear because he did not want to waste the call sheet of all the actors. The shooting was wrapped up at exactly 6 pm. Vinay gave us a surprise by visiting us at that time. He had come from another shooting spot. So we had arranged a room for him. Lakshmi Rai wanted to host a party to all the crew members right from the light boy.

The whole unit consisting of 100 members became very cheerful. The party went up to 1 am. At that time Vinay said that he did not like the room allotted to him. He said, "Lakshmi Rai is given a room in five star hotel and I have been allotted with a room in an ordinary hotel." Though Vinay’s demand is justifiable, there were no other vacant rooms where Lakshmi Rai stayed. Vinay could not be convinced. At that juncture, Lakshmi Rai requested Vinay to stay with her in the room. Vinay also agreed for this and the problem was solved."

When asked director P T Selvakumar about this, he said, "It is true that there was a party. Normally leading actors and actresses will participate in the parties hosted by the actors and actresses of their level. Lakshmi Rai hosted a party for the crew members and enjoyed with them. This is a big matter. It is not wrong on the part of Vinay to demand a room. There will always be an ego among the heroes in these matters. In spite of all this, he made lots of adjustments and cooperated with us."

When asked Lakshmi Rai about this, she said, "Acting in Onbathula Guru was a jolly good experience for me. I was not angered when you said that I was in love with Vinay. Now you are saying that we both stayed in the same room. What I would like to say is that there is nothing wrong if two friends stay in the same room with good intentions. No controversy should be created because Vinay is a hero."

Hansika speaks about her heroes

Hansika has mentioned that these days Tamil guys like slim heroines and she has become slimmer than ever before.

The whole of Tamil Nadu was celebrating you as Small Kushboo and now you have become slimmer. Why this change?

There are no plans. I decided not to put more weight. During the shooting of Settai, Anjali was very slimmer than me. Now I am slimmer than her. I have done so many workouts. Than I am acting in seven Tamil and Telugu films simultaneously. Because I am acting so much I have become slimmer.

Seven films. All the heroes of the seven films are in your friendship list. Are there no heroines in your friendship list?

I have no heroines in my friendship list. Many of them are jealous about me but I am praying for them. God bless them.

Tell me about your heroes especially Surya?

Very decent. In Singam 2 shooting spots I just say Hi to him. I have not spoken to him at all. He is a very shy type. He will not speak much.

Simbhu?

Very stylish guy. He will behave very manly. Having confidence in me, he has given me the gangster role in Vettai Mannan.

Arya?

Whatever happens in the world, he is a guy who is always cool. He is a very jolly good fellow. He is so naughty. I like him. We can always laugh if he is with us.

Siddarth?

Though I have acted with many heroes, I was feeling very comfortable acting with Siddarth. He suits me very much.

Dhanush?

Dhanush is a person who minds his own business. We can never easily find him the shooting spots. He is such a silent party.

Udhayanidhi Stalin?

He is a good student. Yes. He will learn the things he doesn’t know with very much interest.

Jayam Ravi?

He who looks very mischievous on the screen is a very good person off the screen.

After five years what will Hansika be doing?

She will be acting in the films because she does not know anything apart from acting. I came to act in my child hood days. I started acting as heroine at the age of 15. When I was 16, I knew everything about Bollywood cinema. Now my ambition is to become super heroine in Tamil and Telugu film industries. I am not interested in Bollywood cinema. If anyone approaches me from Bollywood I will simply decline.

Ajith’s film not to be released on his birthday

The shooting of the film which has the combination of Ajith and director Vishnuvardhan is now taking place in Dubai. It is expected that this shooting will be completed during the first week of March

It is also understood that another schedule of shooting will be taking in Chennai. Arya, Nayanthara, Taapsee and Raana are also sharing the screen with Ajith in this film. This film which is being directed by Vishnuvardhan has the music of Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The shooting of this film is taking place for a long time. The title, Ajith’s looks and stiils of this film are yet to be revealed. It has been secretly guarded. When asked A M Rathinam who is the producer of this film regarding its release, said, " The film has been tentatively titled Valai. This title may be changed. It is not possible to release the film on Ajith’s birthday. The work connected with this film will take place up to the last week of June. It has been decided to release this film during the month of July."

Santhanam to produce another film

The busiest actor in Tamil film industry is actor Santhanam. Santhanam is acting in one film in the morning and in another film in the afternoon. He produced the film Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya in the First Copy basis.

Santhanam has decided to produce another film in the First Copy basis. Maryada Ramanna is a super hit hilarious Telugu film directed by famous director S Rajamouli. In order to put a full stop to the comments by people that he is directing only leading actors, he had directed this comedy film which had comedy actor Sunil in the lead role.

This film was also a great success and actor Sunil has now become one of the leading actors in the Telugu film industry. The rights of Maryada Ramanna are with PVP Pictures. It was decided to remake this film in Tamil which will have Santhanam in the lead role. The film was supposed to be directed Kannan.

Kannan is now busy directing Settai which is the remake of the Hindi film Delhi Belly. Kannan has mentioned that he is not interested in directing another remake film since he is currently directing a remake film. Kannan has also narrated the story of his next film titled Alangaram to PVP. Now PVP has agreed to produce this film.

Meanwhile Santhanam has approached PVP and told them that he will don the lead role in the Tamil remake of Maryada Ramanna and will also produce it in the First Copy basis. PVP has also agreed for this. Comedy actor and director Srinath will direct this film. Srinath had earlier directed a film titled Muthirai.

Dhanush excited about Nayyandi

Dhanush's Nayyandi directed by Sargunam is progressing on a brisk pace. We hear that the National Award winning actor is excited about the pace in which the scenes are shot. Minnale girl Reema Sen gave birth to a baby boy yesterday, at a private hospital in New Delhi and he has been named Rudraveer! The actress got married to a high profile restaurateur, Shiv Karan last year at a grand wedding ceremony.

Shiv Karan Said,"Reema had C section delivery and both the baby and mother are doing fine."

Born and brought up in Kolkata, Reema Sen made her Kollywood debut in 2001 film Minnale, in which she was cast with Madhavan. You have forgotten that English Vinglish was directed by a woman director or otherwise are you purposely asking me this question. That film only gave me name and fame. Moreover this film fulfilled my dream. 

I wanted to act with Sridevi and this happened through this film. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi has drawn the story board. How many people are doing this now? Tell me.

Kajal Agarwal has mentioned that actresses are respected more in Telugu film industry than in Tamil film industry. What is your opinion?

I don’t know. I don’t want to speak about the things that I don’t know. I have no comments to offer on this matter. Tamil cinema industry is advanced than others.

With Oorvasi. This is my lifetime desire. I wanted to act with Sridevi and this has happened now. There are no other actresses like her in North India.

Cinema alone is not the reason for this. Good things are shown in films and if that is followed lots of changes would have taken place. When things are like that, it not right to blame the cinema.

 

Why are we comfortably forgetting us? Are we not the reason for this? Parents don’t take the responsibility in bringing up their kids. Even during their adult period they are not taken care off.

Lakshmi Rai refuses to dance with Power Star

Lakshmi Rai is donning the female lead role in the film Onbadhula Guru. Vinay, Sathyan, Premgi and Chaams are also acting in this film.

The kiss that Amala Paul is going to give

Actress Amala Paul is one of the leading actresses in Tamil and Telugu film industries. She is currently pairing with Vijay in Thalaiva and with Allu Arjun in a Telugu film titled Iddarammayilatho.

Amala Paul after completing the first schedule shooting of Vijay starrer Thalaiva had gone to Spain to participate in the shooting of Allu Arjun’s film. There is a kissing sequence in this film Iddarammayilatho which will feature Amala Paul and Allu Arjun.

In a statement issued by him says, "More than 100 petitions have been sent to the Police Commissioner and Chief Minister’s cell alleging that Hindu Gods have been denigrated in this film.

My film Aadhi Bhagavan is being released tomorrow throughout the world with the title Ameerin Aadhi Bhagavan. This film which is being released in spite of severe protests has Auro 3D sound system.

This film will be the second in Asia with this system after Viswaroopam. The film is being released tomorrow in more than 500 theatres worldwide. Though this film has been certified with an A certificate in order to satisfy some groups, the film can be seen by all the family members since it is a commercial action oriented film."

Asin to pair with Vijay?

It is understood that Asin will once again pair with Vijay in a Tamil film. Asin who put her foot in Bollywood has been giving continuous hits there and because of this she was avoiding South Indian films. Kaavalan which had Vijay was an exception.

I have no enmity with Power Star says Actress Lakshmi Rai

There was news that when Power Star was not popular he had approached Lakshmi Rai to act with him in his film. It is understood that Lakshmi Rai had refused and because of this Power Star was angry with her.

At this juncture, there was also news that actress Lakshmi Rai has danced for a Kuthu song with Power Star in the film Onbadhula Guru and both of them have become friendly.

When asked Lakshmi Rai about this, she said, " I am donning the female lead role in Onbadhula Guru. The shooting of my portions have been completed one month ago. I am acting in my next film. Someone has spread the news that I have danced with Power Star. I have not danced with him.

I don’t know even know that who Power Star is. I am only seeing him now on TV. The news that I have refused to act with him is also false. My manager only takes care of my call sheets. May be he would have refused. I don’t know anything about that. I will act with anyone as long the film has a good story. That is my policy."

Thulasi debuted in Kadal which was directed by Manirathnam. Thulasi is currently pairing with Jiiva in Yaan which is being directed by ace cinematographer Ravi K Chandran. All of a sudden Karthika visited her sister Thulasi at the shooting spot of Yaan.

Surprised by her visit, Thulasi rushed to her and hugged her. Both of them were speaking for some time. Karthika while speaking about this said, " Since both of us are acting we do not have time to speak to each other in our house. I am very happy speaking to my sister at the shooting spot of Yaan. I was on my way to meet my designer. On the way I met my sister unexpectedly in the sets of Yaan. We both have become very busy."

Clashes in Singam 2

Singam is a hit film which had Surya and Anushka in the lead roles. After the great success of this film a sequel to this film is being produced with the title Singam 2. Hari who directed the first part is also directing Singam 2.

Surya and Anushka are in the lead roles in this film also. Anjali has danced for a Kuthu song in Singam 2. So far Hari has not shot in foreign locales for his film. For the first time, he has planned to shoot some important sequences in foreign locales.

The cast and crew will be leaving shortly to South Africa and Tanzania. At this juncture Hollywood actor Dani Sabani is donning the villain role in this film. He who hails from London has acted in many Tele serials and films like The Oxford Murder and Mercenaries. He is currently acting in a Hollywood film titled Trance directed by Oscar winning director Danny Boyle. There are more expectations about this film since the Hollywood actor is acting in Singam 2.

Viswaroobam 2 to be sent to Censor Board

After overcoming so many obstacles, the film Viswaroobam which has Kamal Haasan in the lead role had been released and is running successfully. Islamic Organization raised their despondency about this film.

Hence some controversial scenes and dialogues were deleted and released. Now at this juncture the part 2 of this film is getting ready in top gear. Kamal while shooting for the part 1 has already shot the part 2 sequences.

The story of the part 2 will happen in India. There are scenes in part 2 where the terrorists plan in America and Afghanistan to attack India. These sequences have already been shot. In the part 1, the terrorist leader escapes from America in a plane. The plans he makes to destroy India will feature in part 2.

Kamal, Pooja Kumar and Andrea have acted in this film. It is understood that the shooting of this film will be completed in 15 days. After this the film will be sent to Censor Board for certification. The post production works of this film is also on progress. Since there are protests, some of the scenes and dialogues have been changed.

Kajal Agarwal shocked after seeing Bharathiraja’s remark

Actress Kajal Agarwal is shocked on hearing the remarks made by Bharathiraja about her. Director Bharathiraja had introduced her in his Tamil film Bommalattam. After this she continued to act in Naan Mahan Alla and Thuppakki.

In one of her recent interview, she has mentioned that there is no respect for actresses in Tamil film industry and heroes are treated as Gods. She also added that woman is respected more in the Telugu film industry.

This remark by her have created flutters in the Tamil film industry but Kajal denied this and said that she had never mentioned anything like that. In between Bharathiraja vehemently condemned the attitude of Kajal Agarwal. He had mentioned that Kajal Agarwal is an arrogant girl and he regretting now for having introduced her in the industry.

When others criticized her, she did not bother about it. She was shocked seeing director Bharathiraja’s comments. She has been telling to her close friends that she has not mentioned anything like that and it is only a distorted statement. She further tried to contact Bharathiraja and convince him but he refused to talk to her and because of this she became more upset.

Actor Vadivelu’s daughter’s marriage to take place soon

Actor Vadivelu made his debut in Tamil films in the year 1991 through the film En Rasavin Manasile. After this he continued to act in numerous films along with almost all the leading actors. He has also sung songs in his own voice.

His film career came to stand still because he campaigned for the DMK party in the last assembly elections. After the elections, he kept away from the film industry. After a long time he has been signed for the film titled Tenali Raman in which he is donning dual roles.

This film is being directed by Yuvaraj. The shooting of this film is to commence soon. At this juncture Vadivelu has decided to conduct the marriage of his elder daughter. The marriage is to take place on 7th April in Madurai. Marriage invitations are being printed. He has decided to invite political leaders and the members of the film industry. After the marriage, Vadivelu will take up acting.

Director Mysskin names his production house as Lone Wolf

A very strange term indeed. Not many can relate to this or their lifestyle or work to this term.

 

Only a person with high creative intensity and has the audacity to create a world around him, with him alone, can think or come out with a term like Lone Wolf.

 

We are talking about none other than Director Mysskin. And Lone Wolf is the name of his production house under which he is to start his upcoming project.

On talking about this, the director said, ‘’ I am always fascinated by Wolves for their peculiar characteristics…They are always known to be as a group and hunt in packs.

 

But also there is another kind of ferocious wolves that live a secluded, king like life, which isolates itself from the crowd. They live a very aloof, self dependent life.

 

As these characters and their way of living fascinate me, I could not find any other better name than “LONE WOLF” for my production house.

 

I intend to do a lot of quality, good films under this banner starting with my upcoming venture to be launched soon’’.

Aadhi Bhagavan title changed

Aadhi Bhagavan is a film which has Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra in the lead roles. This film has been directed by Ameer.

Some of the Hindu Organizations have protested against the title of this film. This film was sent for certification to the Censor Board.

The members of the Board had suggested deleting some scenes in order to certify the film with a U certificate. Ameer did not relent to this.

He mentioned that if these particular scenes are deleted than the density of the story will be lost. So the film was certified with an A certificate.

Apart from this, the Board members also requested Ameer to change the title of this film. Director Ameer has now titled this film as Ameerin Aadhi Bhagavan.

This film is to be released on 22nd of this month. In the recent times various political and religious organizations have started protesting against each Tamil film. Viswaroobam was one of the scapegoats.

So the members of the film industry are insisting that stringent laws should be imposed against this by the Central Government and Censor Board to put an end to this menace. 

20 minutes French dialogues in a Tamil film

Prabhu Raja Chozha was earlier an assistant to director Shankar. Now he is currently directing a Tamil film titled Karuppampatti.

 

Ajmal and Aparna Bajpai are in the lead roles in this film. This film is being released on 1st March.

 

20 minutes sequences of this film are taking place in the capital city of Paris in France. In this sequence, there will be French dialogues.

Director Prabhu Raja Chozhan while speaking about this said, “Ajmal lives in Karuppampatti village.

He leaves behind his relatives and others and goes to France for his livelihood.

 

He gets married and settles there. His son, another Ajmal comes to India in search of his blood relatives. This is the story of the film. Italian actress Alice Tantardini is pairing with Ajmal.

 

Both of them will be speaking in French. I have not used sub-titles. One can guess what they are speaking if they see the situation in the film. We have tried this new thing.”

I will act only if my mother approves says Actress Kaviya Madhavan

Kaviya Madhavan who had acted in Tamil films Sadhu Mirandal, En Mana Vanile, Kasi and numerous Malayalam films has mentioned that she will act in the films only if her mother approves the script.

She while speaking about this said, " My roles will always be family oriented. My mother only will read the scripts of the directors who come to narrate the story to me. She can easily evaluate the density of the story and whether the audience will enjoy my role. She will read the script and only if she approves I will read the script.

Then only I will agree to act in a film. Last year I have read at least 10 scripts. I have accepted two of those scripts. I also agree to share the screen with other heroines but I should like my character. I have acted in Mammootty starrer Bavuttiyude Namathil, Mohanlal starrer Lokpal and Suresh Gopi starrer Twenty 20.

There are restrictions for me since I am an actress. I cannot go outside freely. Since I am acting from child hood I have lost my freedom. Recently I had been to Australia with my family. There I was able to roam freely with the people chatting and singing songs. Though I have lost small small desires, I have earned a good name."

Poorna quits Trisha’s film

RUM ( Ramba, Urvasi, Menaka) is a film which is being produced in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. Trisha, Poorna and Nikisha Patel was signed for the three heroine roles. There were some modifications in Poorna’s character and story.

There are already three heroines in this film. Now one more woman character is being casted in this film. Hence Poorna had quit this film. She has been replaced by Isha Chawla. Famous Telugu producer S M Raju is directing this film.

After Poorna quit this film, the director has made lots of modifications in the story. Moreover he has made Charmi, the fourth heroine of this film. It is understood that the director has requested 22 days continuous call sheet from Poorna and she has felt that the director is purposely sideling her and hence she quit the film. Poorna is currently acting in the Tamil films Arjunan Kadhali, Padam Pesum and Jannal Oram.

Oviya says that one can withstand in cinema only because of glamour...

Oviya has mentioned that one can withstand in cinema only if you show glamour. Oviya made her debut in the film Kazhavani. She while speaking said, "For an actress glamour is unavoidable. This is a part of cinema.

Many of the actresses act in glamour roles. I am also one among them. There are lots of competitions these days. Every week new actresses are debuting. In spite of this I am lucky enough to withstand in this field. I hope this will continue.

When I made my debut, I did not know about the fashion of an actress. After I became an actress I came to know about it. I am well versed in fashion designing and make up. I give importance to them. I have donned the role of a Plus 2 student in the recently released film Sillunu Oru Sandhippu.

When I acted in Kazhavani directed by Sargunam I did not realize that Kazhavani would be a hit. I saw the film with the audience in the theatre and I was able to understand what they enjoy. They say that I have acted well if there is comedy in my role. In truth, it is very difficult to act like that. I like to act in those kinds of challenging roles. I am currently acting in Moodar Koodam and in a Telugu film."
